Design

Just as with interior, the outside is a mish-mash of new and old. The utilitarian shape of the original G-Wagon is still visible, but it’s covered in modern lights and wider arches. The performance style additions to this AMG don’t integrate all that well, the side pipes for instance look like fake aftermarket items.

It’s difficult to think of a more offensive looking car than the G; it’s big, bold, brash and unapologetically flash. The Colour Edition G63 amplifies the tastelessness. With a black roof, arches and mirrors to contrast the bodywork the bright Colour Edition hues look even more vivid.
