340bhp Focus RS

Graham Goode Racing tweaks the Ford Focus RS to 340bhp and 397lb ft for £435

Is 300bhp through the front wheels not quite bonkers enough for you? Then you’ll be delighted to know that Graham Goode Racing concurs.

The tuning company has announced a package that takes the Ford Focus RS from 300 to 340bhp, with torque making an even sharper jump from 324 to 397lb ft. The latter figure is on a par with the Lamborghini LP560-4, but comes much further down the rev range (3100rpm) thanks to the Ford’s monster turbo.

It’s been developed by Superchips and remains a purely engine management-based tweak, with no mechanical changes required. The standard 300bhp ECU map can also be stored should you wish to revert back.

Fancy the extra poke? Set aside £435 (including VAT) for the GGR RS 340 upgrade, which also comes with a 12 month/30,000 mile warranty. Find out more by heading to the Graham Goode Racing website.
