Record Radical for sale

The quickest car round the Nurburgring (and Bedford), the Radical SR8LM, is for sale

Got a hundred grand or so to spare? Then you can own a little slice of car and, indeed, evo history. The Radical SR8LM that holds both the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Bedford West Circuit lap records (both under our supervision) is up for sale.

The road-legal track car set a blistering 6min 48sec time at the Ring’s north loop a couple of months ago (view our video here) and also did itself proud in this issue’s Track Car of the Year feature (a video of that is this way).

It comes with a 460bhp 2.8-litre V8 engine, which is enough to shift the SR8LM’s slender 680kg weight to 60mph in 3.2sec and onto a 168mph top speed. And with 687bhp/ton, it has a power-to-weight ratio that’s considerably higher than the mighty Bugatti Veyron.

The price? £99,850 plus VAT. It comes fully road registered, too, so you can hop straight in and use it every day, just in time for winter. Fantastic.
