Mercedes-Benz SLS roadster and C-Class coupe revealed

Superbowl TV commercial reveals the all-new Mercedes-Benz SLS roadster and C-Class coupe. See it here

Mercedes-Benz has revealed two of 2011's hotly anticipated cars in its US Superbowl commercial. The SLS AMG roadster and C-Class coupe both make a fleeting appearance at the end of a very cool advert, which celebrates 125 years of innovative Mercedes cars. Their debut, above, is a mere teaser, but they’re both looking pretty sharp in a typically smart silver hue. The SLS AMG drop-top needs no introduction – it’s the roadster version of one of our favourite current supercars, with a front-mid-mounted 563bhp V8 engine powering the rear wheels. Its convertible layout does mean the SLS’s striking gullwing doors have had to go, though. The C-Class coupe is more of an unknown quantity, though it’s safe to assume it’s a typical two-door conversion of the recently facelifted BMW 3-series rival. What excites us, though, is the upcoming C63 AMG coupe – a proper foe for the BMW M3. Insiders have told us its one of Mercedes' cars yet. We can’t wait to try it.
