Tuned Lamborghini Gallardo

Another tuned Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, this time with 612bhp and no roof

A day after the exceedingly white IMSA GTV comes another tuned Lamborghini Gallardo from Germany.

This one’s by the catchily-named Wheelsandmore, and is based on the LP560-4 Spyder. It’s had a rename, though; meet the Lamborghini LP620 Yarrow.

As the name suggests, power has taken a rather healthy hike up to 620ps (612bhp) while torque takes an even bigger climb, from the standard car’s 398lb ft to a monster 580lb ft.

Happily, the Gallardo remains four-wheel drive, enabling the torque to be transferred to the road rather than squandered into smoke and noise. There’s also a tougher set of brakes – 8-piston calipers and 380mm discs up front, 6-piston calipers and 360mm discs at the rear. There’s suspension tweaks, too, with race-spec coilover springs, while the car can be hydraulically raised 45mm to help it clear inconvenient speed bumps and suchlike.

Styling-wise, the Gallardo LP620 is kept impressively standard, with several carbon parts – front splitter, mirrors and rear diffuser – and the Bumblebee-inspired paintwork the only key changes. The wheels are 20in items and come wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx rubber.

Wheelsandmore’s tweaks kick off at 8999 euros (£8K) for the suspension, and total nearly 47,000 euros (£42K) for the whole lot. Include the Gallardo Spyder in the cost and you’re touching £200,000.

Don’t think it’s worth it? Well if you fancy your tuned Gallardo a bit less powerful and a bit more roofed, click here to see the IMSA GTV.Follow evo on Twitter for the latest performance car news
