That little has changed in Toyota’s 2015 driver lineup reflects just how successful the 2014 season was for the team.

Despite bad luck at the season’s most widely-publicised round in Le Mans, which was once again won by Audi Sport Team Joest, Toyota took victory in five out of eight of the season’s eight rounds. It ended the season 45 points ahead of its German rivals, with newcomers Porsche trailing on points despite victory in the final race at Sao Paulo.

That last demonstration of speed by Porsche and Audi’s continuing Le Mans dominance mean the 2015 season will be even less predictable than 2014. With Nissan’s front-wheel drive challenger now also revealed, there’s sure to be plenty of excitement throughout the field.

The 2015 World Endurance Championship season kicks off with the 6 Hours of Silverstone on April 12, before heading to Spa on May 2 and Le Mans in mid-June.
