Racelogic Video Vbox

If you want to record trackday data, Video Racelogic Vbox is ideal

The Video Vbox was an obvious fit for us here at evo. For years we’ve been using Racelogic kit for all our performance testing, and this new box would still give us all the functionality of before but with the added benefit of instant videos that display real-time data.  When we’re at a track it takes barely any longer to set up the kit and download the data than it did before. There are two bullet cameras to mount, but with the small sucker clamps, that’s simple enough and once it’s all plugged into the cigarette lighter you’re up and away. This is important for us as time track time is usually tight and we normally have other demands, such as photography and subjective note taking. There is some pre-preparation to be done, as you can design and set your ‘scene’ any way you like. The software is easy enough to learn and after a few experimentation runs you soon have it sorted and ready. The ability to design your own layout and set the kit up for any circuit you like gives the system almost unlimited flexibility, and you can even change the display for each car should you wish to.  For us it’s already become the most important piece of road test equipment since the stopwatch, and you can win one, maybe, if you enter our Racelogic Video Vbox competition.
