Peugeot RCZ Arlen Ness edition

A curious special edition, as the Peugeot RCZ coupe celebrates motorcycle maker Arlen Ness

Peugeot has unveiled a special edition RCZ coupe. The Arlen Ness had its covers whipped off at the Verona Motor Bike Expo in Italy, a fact related to it being named after the customer motorcycle builder and accessories provider.

It’s a one-off version of the RCZ, with an orange and matt back two-tone exterior, leather-wrapped mirrors (apparently!) and new alloy wheels, while there’s adjustable sports suspension, Ohlins dampers and beefier Brembo brakes.

At its heart is the regular RCZ’s 197bhp, 1.6-litre THP turbo petrol engine, with a Termignoni sports exhaust system fitted. There’s no word on any performance boosts this might bring.

The Peugeot RCZ Arlen Ness remains a bit of a mystery; it seems likely it’s a car produced by Peugeot Italy as a promotional exercise, though we can hope some of its dynamic upgrades can be applied to UK cars. We’ll bring you more as we discover it…
