BMW launches M Performance parts range for X5 M and X6 M

Sports accessories allow owners to further personalise their ‘bahnstorming SUVs

The BMW X5 M and X6 M are already two of the most aggressive-looking vehicles on the roads, but for those wanting to distance their sledgehammer SUV from common-or-garden M-kitted diesels will appreciate BMW’s new range of M Performance parts.

Styling options start with black-framed radiator and side grilles with black slats and an M logo. Adding to the darkened theme are handmade carbon exterior mirror caps and on the X6 M, rear fins in gloss black.

A set of BMW Motorsport stripes is also available for each car in the familiar blue, purple and red. The colours can be splashed across the side sills of each car and in the lower grille elements in the front and rear bumpers.

The accessories range stretches to interior alterations too. Carbon once again plays its part, featuring in interior trim strips, a gear shifter insert, centre console trim (also featuring Alcantara) and an Alcantara and carbon wheel rim.

The M Performance steering wheel also includes a blue centre marker for a ‘genuine motor sport feeling’. A set of stainless steel pedal covers completes the range of interior options.

BMW says the warranty remains unaffected by M Performance accessories.
