Vauxhall's VXR Power Festival

Quarter miles, 0-60mph runs, track driving and a 3000bhp, 240mph+ Vauxhall star at Silverstone

This August bank holiday – August 28 and 29 – sees the VXR Power Festival land at Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix. It’s a celebration of all things VXR, both for Vauxhall fans and petrolheads alike. There’ll be a chance to head onto track, complete drag runs and time your car from 0-60mph, as well as some stunning stunt shows to watch and plenty of car club and display stands to explore. You can even go karting!

Stealing much of the attention is likely to be the world's fastest Vauxhall, the amazing 8.8-litre twin-turbo V8 Victor (main picture) with 3000bhp and a predicted 0-240mph time of 6.5sec. And it's street legal... And evo’s produced a FREE digital magazine as a guide to the event. Not only can you find out more via interactive links and video, but there’s a handy 33 per cent ticket discount and a great racing game, where you can take your choice of VXR, from Corsa to mighty VXR8, around the track. Click here to see it. View evo’s VXR Power Festival magazine here Head to the VXR Power Festival website Read our review of the latest Astra VXR, the Arctic Edition
