Rolls-Royce Phantom Chicane Coupe

The special edition Rolls-Royce Phantom Chicane Coupe pays homage to Goodwood circuit

Rolls-Royce has revealed a new special edition in the form of the Phantom Bespoke Chicane Coupe.

Created especially for the lucrative Dubai market on commission from the local dealer, the Chicane takes inspiration from the Goodwood Motor Circuit.

The interior of the car encapsulates this as it features an engraving of the legendary racetrack on a plaque along with red leather seats, piano black accents and some seemingly obligatory carbonfibre trim.

The special edition treatment is applied on the outside as well thanks to a matt black and gunmetal grey two-tone paintjob with matching alloy wheels.

Performance, however, is identical to the standard Phantom model with a 6.75-litre BMW-built V12 engine powering it from 0-60 in 5.6sec and on to a top speed of 155mph. Power remains the same at a behemoth 453bhp and 531 lb ft of torque – enough to pull all the luxury items you’ve probably stuffed in the boot.

There's no confirmation whether the Chicane will make it on sale, and if it does, how much the regular Phantom Coupe's £253,125 price tag can be expected ro rise.
