Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series

Porsche is to reveal its new limited edition Panamera Exclusive Series at the LA Auto Show

Porsche will debut its new limited edition Panamera Exclusive Series at the LA Auto Show, of which only 100 examples will be made.

Based on the long-wheelbase 562bhp Panamera Turbo S, the special edition shall be finished by Porsche Exclusive and will be offered as a left-hand drive model only.

The changes over the standard car are purely superficial, with Porsche debuting new two-tone, hand-painted graduated paintwork: a deep metallic black is offset with a chestnut brown metallic below the door handles which fades towards the rear flanks of the car. The same metallic black is used on the front air inlet grilles and the 20-inch ‘fuchs’ style alloy wheels.

Inside, however, is where the majority of the work has been focused. The seats and the lower door panels have been wrapped in Poltrona Frau leather in Agatha Chestnut Brown, the skins hand-picked and are ‘exceptionally soft’, whilst the Porsche crest adorns the seat’s center panels.

The two-tone theme is carried over onto the interior, too. The upper-door trim is covered in black nappa leather, which is offset with stitching a similar chestnut brown as that on the exterior. This continues with other parts of trim in the cabin, with walnut burl wood being contrasted with a dark piano black lacquer surface.

The Exclusive Series also debuts Porsche’s Rear Seat Entertainment System Plus consisting of two HD 10-1-inch touchscreens in the rear, with in-built DVD player and camera.

Each example will carry a tag showing its unique limited edition number, in addition to a handcrafted badge behind the front air intakes, which certifies the car’s originates from the Porsche Exclusive factory. As an optional extra Porsche will include a matching, five-piece luggage set made of identical frau leather evident in the lower door trims.

The price for this exclusivity and luxury in Germany is £196,630.
