Mansory Porsche Panamera

Mansory gets its mitts on the Porsche Panamera Turbo. Results are pretty garish

Is this the least tasteful modified car we’ve yet seen? Swiss tuner Mansory has got its mitts on the Porsche Panamera Turbo supersaloon, and this is the rather eye-grabbing result. We’ll put the styling aside for a moment and focus on what lies beneath the skin. The regular Panamera Turbo’s 4.8-litre V8 engine is boosted to 680bhp and 627lb ft, respective rises of 187bhp and 111lb ft. Mansory claims this drags the near two-ton Panamera to a 204mph top speed, hitting 62mph in four seconds dead. We managed 0-60mph in 3.6sec in a standard Panamera Turbo. Would be interesting to see what difference those hefty power and torque hikes would make… Performance diversion over, we really have to talk about the way it looks. While the initial sketches hinted of something more subtle, the end result can only be described as garish. A blue and yellow colour scheme inside and out only draws attention to the Panamera’s contentious styling, while oversized wheels and affixed bodykit mean the Mansory will outmuscle any supercar you care to sit it beside for sheer attention-grabbing. Has there been a more garish modified car? Or do you have a soft spot for the Mansory Panamera? Make your mind up with our gallery of images then let us know on the Forum or via Twitter and Facebook…
