Techart Porsche Panamera

Tuner Techart gives the Porsche Panamera a welcome restyle at the Frankfurt show

Stuttgart based tuner Techart has attempted to make the startling Porsche Panamera more visually appealing with a range of exterior and interior upgrades.

In fact, the company claims aerodynamic benefits for much of the bodywork addenda, which includes front and rear spoilers, side skirts and a rear diffuser. The roof mounted spoiler and headlight covers are billed merely as ‘decorative’, which might give you an excuse to delete them from your order. Five-spoke alloys are also included in the package. At Frankfurt, the show car had silver wheels on one side and black on the other, the latter helping the bulky five-door look a little more stealthy.

The interior of the Panamera is already a nice place to be, but Techart has willingly created scope for personalisation. A range of colours are available for the leather trim and instruments, while ash is used to trim the dashboard, doors and centre console.

The makeover is purely visual, and the underpinnings remain the same whether the base car is an S, 4S or Turbo. Mechanical upgrades will become available at the start of 2010.
