The Porsche Macan has recently been treated to a host of sporty new options. The baby off-roader that is commanding lengthy waiting lists and premiums in the UK, is proving to be very popular and the Porsche Exclusive department has been formulating an all-new Sport Design Package for the Macan.
Made up of a sports exhaust system, bi-xenon headlights and dark-coloured LED rear lights, the pack also includes the new Sport Classic 21-inch wheels - available in three colour variants - that are inspired by the iconic and instantly recognisable 911 Fuchs wheels. These options can be retrofitted too, via Porsche Tequipment from December onwards.
The Sport Design Package consists of front bumper, side skirt panels, rear bumper section and side blades. All of these panels and parts, including the roof spoiler’s trailing edge and rear mid-section, are available in the car's exterior colour or in high gloss black.
The smoked bi-xenon headlights now feature a number of menacing black components and are included in the Porsche Dynamic Light System. Changes have also been made to the rear lights, which are now smoked, with the fittings partially finished in black.
Porsche has specifically developed a new sports exhaust system for the Macan. There are modified silencers that can be controlled via a dedicated button on the centre console, much like other performance oriented Porsche models. The sports exhaust can be marked out from the standard system by the stainless steel twin tailpipe tips. These can be finished with a chrome-plating or painted in black or silver.
The interior has not been excluded from the changes and will continue to be developed in the future. There is a new ‘Limed Oak’ interior package that brightens the cars smart and functional cabin. These options add another level of customisation the Macan, something that will be welcomed by potential buyers.
