Peugeot RCZ R gets 300hp Bimota special edition
Huge amount of power from a 1.6-litre engine
Peugeot has announced a 300hp Bimota special edition of its RCZ R coupe. Built in tandem with the famous Italian bike maker, the car features a raft of upgrades over a standard RCZ R.
First up is a new exhaust system and bypass valve for the turbocharger, which is what helps raise the normal 266hp RCZ R up to the 300hp special edition.

Then you have a more powerful set of four piston calipers, combined with 380mm discs at the front. Suspension has also been lowered by 10mm.
In terms of aesthetic changes, Peugeot has implemented a bike-style paint scheme, with Bimota logos on either side and a red, white and black exterior.
The interior features a GoPro mounted to the headliner and front bumper, while more leather and alcantara has been put to use in the upholstery.
The rear seats in the RCZ are now gone, replaced with a leather box for helmets. TomTom has also been put to use upgrading the infotainment system.
There are yet to be any pricing or release date details announced for the car.
