Le Mans 2012: Nissan Deltawing

Nissan is still firmly on track to bring the recently unveiled Deltawing racer to the Le Mans 24 Hours. The somewhat unconventional shape gives the Nissan a key aerodynamic advantage, and although the Deltawing doesn't conform to regulations for any of the different Le Mans Series classes, the organisers will allow the experimental racer to take part, from 'Garage 56'.

Testing on track since March, the Deltawing is pioneering new lightweight and efficient technologies - backed by British designer Ben Bowlby and American motorsport entrepreneur Don Panoz.
