Nissan Juke Nismo 'Dark Knight Rises' edition

To celebrate the launch of The Dark Knight Rises on DVD and Bluray, Nissan has created a one-off special Batman-themed Juke Nismo

Nissan has released details of a one-off Batman-themed special edition, the Dark Knight Rises edition, to celebrate the launch of the new film on DVD and Bluray.

In keeping with the spirit of the character, the Juke is painted matt black paint with red detailing on the wheels and front bumper. A small bat logo can be seen on the front grille, tailgate, and also embroidered onto the front suede-trimmed seat headrests, as well as the kickplates.

The Bat logo is also projected onto the headlining, and onto the ground below the door mirrors thanks to clever use of puddle lighting. Based on the standard Juke Nismo, the special edition features the 197bhp turbocharged 1.6-litre engine, which is transferred to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox – with a 0-62mph time of 7.8 secs.

The only catch is, you won’t actually be able to buy the Dark Knight Rises edition. It will be given away as part of the Nissan ‘built to thrill' competition. Enter at www.builttothrill.co.uk
