Mightier Atom
A battery-powered Ariel Atom has beaten a Porsche Carrera GT on the dragstrip (three times in a row), hitting 60mph in just 3.0sec. And its creator, New Zealander Ian Wright, is planning to build a production sports car based on the same technology and giving the same performance.
