F1 safety car replica
Capitalising on the coverage it gets on Sunday afternoons during the Grand Prix season, AMG is developing a replica of its SLK55 F1 Safety Car. Visually similar to the roadster that leads out the field during the warm-up lap, but minus the lights and stickers, the 'performance package' for the SLK55 includes removing the speed restrictor to allow it to hit 186mph, and hardcore upgrades for the brakes and suspension. There's no news yet on when the car will be available or if it's coming to the UK.
