This is the Shelby Cobra GT500, the 450bhp-plus Mustang that could spearhead official Mustang sales here in the UK. There is already a thriving business in personal imports and this, added to the very positive reception the Ford GT received, has prompted Ford to plan limited sales of Mustangs, including the Shelby. The exact timing is yet to be decided because Ford is currently struggling to meet demand in the US, but it will most likely happen in 2006.
