If you read the spec sheets for the new BMW M6 and its M5 saloon sibling, you'd be hard-pushed to discover what sets them apart, aside from looks. And, as with most BMW designs of late, the looks of the M6 are sure to divide opinion. It certainly lacks the edgy menace of the original M635 CSi, though judgement will have to be reserved until the new car is presented both in the metal and without the unfortunate new hue (Indianapolis red) seen here.
