Supercars from Bugatti Veyron to Ferrari Scuderia gather for the 2009 Prescott Hill Climb

On Saturday May 23 the Prescott Speed Hill Climb near Cheltenham hosted La Vie En Bleu 2009. It’s an event celebrating everything about French cars, ranging from typical Citroens and Renaults to rarer stuff, such as the Venturi 400GT and, of course, the Bugatti Veyron.

While the Veyron is the work of the Germans – Volkswagen, to be precise – it is built in France. As well as a ‘regular’ Veyron there was also a rare Pur Sang special edition. The pair attacked the hill climb alongside the car’s predecessor, the Bugatti EB110.

There was also a joyful group of Ferraris competing in the Pirelli hill climb. There were a variety of models, from mid-engined V8’s like the 430 Scudeira, F355, and Dino to front-engined cars such as the V12 550 Maranello.

There was also a selection of Astons from the DB5 to ultra-rare DB7 Zagato. Scroll down to see a selection of images from the event. For more images and videos click this way.
