Chance to see Koenigsegg CCXR Edition and Pagani Zonda F Carbon
Visitors to 2008's MPH show will be treated to some up close viewing of two very rare hypercars.
The Bugatti-besting Koenigsegg CCXR Edition will be there in all its 1018bhp, 796lb ft glory. Just six of the biofuel-powered car have been produced, the CCXR utilizing the benefits of E85 bioethanol to help it surge to 62mph in 2.9sec and beyond the Veyron's 253mph top speed. It's all wrapped up in a carbon fibre body, with a modest £1.5million price tag slapped on it.
For around a third of that, you could have another carbon fibre bodied hypercar - the Pagani Zonda F Carbon. £668k buys you the mad 7.3-litre V12 Italian, which isn't far behind the CCXR - reaching 62mph in 3.6sec and topping out at 214mph.
The pair will be joined by around 200 other performance cars at MPH, as well as ourselves - EVO will be there in force, perched at stand 28 at Earls Court, where MPH runs from October 30 to November 2 2008, and at the Birmingham NEC's stand 100 from November 13 to 16 2008.
