Overdrive car club announces Yorkshire Rendezvous tour

The inaugural event for this new classic and performance car club will explore the best roads in northern England

The Overdrive car club has announced details of its first large-scale drive event, launching the Yorkshire Rendezvous, a long-format drive event taking in the best of Britain’s scenic roads, historic residences and even a quick blast around a tarmac rally stage.

Designed to be a ‘just add fuel’-style tour, the Overdrive Club will be hosting this limited tour to just 11 vehicles, and will run on the 24th of September from Oulton Hall just outside of Leeds, across the Yorkshire Moors and Hemsley before heading towards the coast for an overnight stay at The Arches Country House.

Here guests will be able to have a run around the tarmac rally stage set up by organisers, and be able to enjoy direct access to some of the UK’s best scenic roads. The following day will then see guests head out to the estate at Hooton Pagnell where the Overdrive Yorkshire Rendezvous will welcome up to 120 cars for an exclusive closed event with dinner, live music and more.

The Overdrive club was founded by father and son Adrian and Lee Brooks as a way to share their passion for classic and performance cars by organising tours like the Yorkshire Rendezvous. With a full 2022 calendar of events still in the works, this is just the start of a packed season as the club plans its future expansion.
