Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Package announced

More power and bigger brakes for Porsche SUV

Porsche has announced a new Performance Package for the Macan Turbo, bringing with it bigger brakes, more power and revised suspension.

The twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6 in the Macan now produces 434bhp and 443lb-ft of torque, which helps deliver a truly rapid claimed 0-60mph time of 4.4 sec, 0.4 sec quicker than the standard Macan Turbo. Top speed has also risen to 169mph, while the increased torque is available across a wider rev-range of 1500-4500rpm.

Also new to the Performance Package is a set of 390mm front discs, 30mm bigger than a standard Macan Turbo, gripped by a set of six-piston callipers painted in red. As standard Performance Package cars come equipped with a 15mm lower body, sports chassis, sports chrono and a sports exhaust. Porsche offers air suspension with height adjustment as an option, this lowers the car by 10mm.
