Tesla Model X UK pricing confirmed - configurator now live

Order books open, with first deliveries expected late 2016

The Tesla Model X is now on sale in the UK. Prices for the entry level X 75D start at £71,900, which includes a 75kWh battery and a claimed range of 259miles. Performance is on par with a hot hatch, with the 75D managing a 6 sec 0-60mph time and a 130mph top speed.

Alternatively there's the £82,400 90D which features a 90kWh battery, 303 miles of range and a 4.8 sec 0-60mph time. The range topping P90D will cost from £99,800 and when fitted with the £8200 'ludicrous speed' upgrade can do 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds.

The Model X configurator is now live on the Tesla website. Options include a £2550 six seat interior or £3400 seven seat interior layout. Tesla's intelligent cruise control 'Autopilot' system costs £2200, while smart air suspension costs the same.

Tesla states that first deliveries of the Model X in the UK will start late 2016. Also just announced by Tesla was a new entry-level Model S saloon. Costing from £53,400, the Model S 60 is the cheapest way into Tesla ownership thus far, unless of course you've got a deposit down on a Model 3.
