Abarth Punto SuperSport details

Abarth has released details of the new limited edition 178bhp Punto SuperSport.

Abarth has released details on the new hardcore Punto SuperSport, which is now available to order. Just 199 will be built, the 1.4-litre MultiAir turbo engine has been tuned to produce 178bhp and 199lb ft of torque, up from 165 of the standard Punto Evo.

The SuperSport is capable of sprinting from 0-62 in 7.5 seconds and will top out at 132mph, and to help put its power down, is fitted with wider 18-inch wheels and Koni FSD dampers.

Standard equipment includes ‘Abarth Corsa by Sabelt’ sports leather seats and the Blue&Me infotainment system with steering wheel controls, automatic climate control. The car is capable of 46.3 mpg and CO2 emissions of just 142g/km.
