Brabus-tuned Mercedes CLA 45 AMG

Brabus has tuned the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG to produce 394bhp, as well as offering some visual and performance packages. Details here

Brabus has tuned the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG to almost 400bhp, offering improved performance and a top speed of 168mph. The well-known Mercedes tuning company has also given the small four-door coupe a few visual tweaks.

With power sat at 396bhp, a rise of 41bhp over the standard 355bhp, the car’s 0-62mph time has been cut by a four tenths – down to 4.2secs. Torque has also been raised by 37lb ft to a slightly more muscular 369lb ft. Mercedes’ seven-speed twin-clutch paddle shift gearbox remains unchanged.

Like all Brabus-tuned cars the styling has been tweaked, giving it a slightly less subtle appearance. Standard 19-inch alloy wheels are painted black with a red lip, a colour scheme also used on the grille and mirror casings. The interior is much the same as the standard AMG, although there is an option to cover pretty much everything in alcantara should you wish.

As the powertrain is identical to the A45 AMG, a similar power upgrade is also available. It is also inevitable that the GLA45 will also receive the same treatment in time.
