Maserati Quattroporte

A minor makeover for Maserati's super saloon

Maserati’s super saloons, the Quattroporte and Quattroporte S, have undergone a minor makeover. The sixth generation of Quattroporte is the most powerful and refined yet. Changes, however, have been minor. At the front, the grille now has vertical slats, maintaining a visual family link with the GranTurismo, front and rear lights incorporate LEDs, mirrors have been restyled and streamlined into the doors and, inside, a new centre console has been used and the nav system upgraded to the new Maserati Multimedia System.

The Quattroporte is fitted with a 4.2-litre 400 HP V8, the ‘S’ version shares the GranTurismo’s 4.7-litre, 430 HP V8. Both cars feature the 6-speed automatic transmission developed in association with ZF. Two new shades of leather, Marrone Corniola (brown) and Sabbia (sand), replacing the beige which was previously in the range.

The new vehicles go on sale in the UK from October.
