Maserati GranCabrio MC revealed

Details and images of the new GranCabrio MC have been released prior to the car's official unveiling at the Paris motor show

Maserati has released images of its new GranCabrio MC model ahead of the official unveiling at the Paris motor show. The GranCabrio MC is a mix between the standard GranCabrio and the high-performance GranTurismo MC. This will be the first time an MC model has been offered as a four-seater, bowing to customer demand.

The new model takes the front end styling from the MC Stradale model, and is fitted with an updated rear bumper. There's a new rear spoiler too, said to reduce lift at high speed. Maserati says can also be specified in carbon fibre, along with many other options.

Maserati claims that the car features the ‘highly sporty and aggressive look, while maintaining the strengths and characteristics of a true grand tourer’. It will feature the same 454bhp 4.7-litre V8 engine as the standard MC Stradale model, although it will only be offered with the six-speed ZF automatic transmission.
