Lotus Elise S2 specification and costs

How much to pay for a Lotus Elise S2 and how much it'll cost to run

What to pay

The cheapest S2s are around £12-13k, where they’ve been for some time. For that sort of money you’ll find a reasonable choice of ’01/’02 cars, usually with the basic 120bhp K-series, though we also spotted a high-mileage 111 at £13.5k. Low-mileage 111s start at around £15k, while £17k gives you choice of early 111s up to ’06/’07 S models. If you can stretch to £20k, a one- or two-owner, low-mileageR or a 2010 S could be yours.
