Range Rover Velar SV Autobiography tuned to 592bhp by Manhart

Manhart Performance has increased power of the range-topping Range Rover Velar SV Autobiography, and added a set of 23” wheels

It’s only been a few months since Range Rover launched its flagship V8-powered Velar SV Autobiography, but Manhart Performance has already got its hands on it. Increasing power and tweaking aesthetics, it now boasts a higher output than even the £100,000 Range Rover Sport SVR.

Despite the lack of an SVR badge, JLR’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 sends 542bhp and 502lb ft of torque to the ground in standard-form. Though it weighs a hefty 2160kg, 0-62mph comes in a respectable 4.5sec thanks to all-wheel-drive, with top speed coming in at 170mph.

As the SV 600 name suggests, Manhart’s take doesn’t leave that power figure untouched, with an ECU tune raising output to 592bhp and 553lb ft of torque, up 50bhp and 51lb ft over standard; this new-found power lifts the Velar well clear of the Range Rover Sport SVR’s 567bhp. Cost for this modification sits at €2499, or approximately £2250.

Aside from the increase in power, Manhart can supply you with a handful of aesthetic tweaks to set your car apart from the rest. A somewhat questionable gold decal set can be had for €999 (around £900), however the main event is the new set of 23” Hawke wheels, finished in gloss black with gold details to match, something that will set you back a punchy €4900 (£4400).

For more sound, €2890 (around £2600) will get you a new exhaust system, complete with 200-cell catalytic converters. The chassis, brakes and interior all remain standard, however Manhart will offer bespoke modification for each should you desire.

The Range Rover Velar SV Autobiography starts at £86,120, however an additional £10,000 will afford you the car you see in these images.
