Lamborghini uses the Beijing motor show to unveil a special Murcielago LP670-4 SV

Lamborghini has used this year’s Beijing Auto Show to unveil its Murciélago LP670-4 Super Veloce China Limited Edition.  But while that name might be something of a mouthful, the rest of the details slide rather easily off the tongue. Like the ‘standard’ Murciélago LP670-4 SV, the China Edition uses plenty of carbon fibre components and a high-strength sectional steel frame so that it weighs 100kg less than the LP640. Power still comes from a 6.5-litre V12, putting 661bhp and 487 lb ft of torque through all four wheels, meaning it’ll do the 0-60mph sprint in just 3.2 seconds, and will be good for 212mph if you have a particular desire to lose your licence. The China Edition also gets a dark grey paintjob with orange and black accents, while the interior is fitted with alcantara upholstery, carbonfibre trim and an individually-numbered badge. Lamborghini is going to limit production to just ten cars, and they will only be available in China.
