Lamborghini Murcielago SV crash

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV supercar that starred in evo 129 crashes

It’s another sad supercar crash. Following recent offs in Pagani Zondas and Lamborghini Gallardos comes this: the totaled Murcielago SV. Not just any Lambo SV, either. It’s limited-edition-number plaque marks it out as car 000 of 350, showing it to be the first SV pumped out of Sant’Agata – and the one that adorned the pages of evo back in Issue 129 when we first shot the super Murcielago. Click here to see those Lambo SV pictures. The SV is one of our favourite current supercars, and it did rather well at evo’s 2009 Car of the Year contest. Its appearance in a scrapyard alongside an Opel Astra and Fiat Uno isn’t the undignified ending any supercar should face… While details of what put the Murcielago there are non existant, it’s a Dutch blog website that’s brought these pictures to our attention, hinting that the SV could have been smashed in Holland. Wherever, though, it’s not a pretty sight. Let us know what you think via the evo Forum, our Facebook page or Twitter feed
