Lamborghini Huracán Evo gets the Novitec aero treatment 

Tuner Novitec has applied a handful of new aero components to the Lamborghini Huracan Evo

The Lamborghini Huracan Evo not only bears a great name, but also a handful of upgrades over its non-Evo predecessor that make it a much more accomplished machine. Among these are significant aesthetic changes, but Novitec still thought it ought to do more.

Though subtle in comparison to the tuner’s full-fat N-Largo widebody kits, the new range of Huracan Evo modifications from Novitec aim to increase the aesthetic appeal of Lamborghini’s ten-cylinder offering, while also bringing marginal improvements in performance.

At the front sits a new splitter and various other aerodynamic components for added aggression - the bonnet even receives a new design for improved downforce, with new intakes channeling air through the bonnet and out in front of the windscreen. New side skirts aim to offer a lower appearance, with extended intakes behind the windows said to optimise cooling. 

The 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 remains in its factory 631bhp configuration, good for a 2.9sec 0-62mph time and a top speed in excess of 200mph. A Novitec plaque can be found in the engine bay, however, with a large Performante-esque wing sitting above. Also at the rear are a new diffuser and carbonfibre exhaust tips. 

All new components have been developed in a wind tunnel to ensure reliability and optimum performance, with most on this model said to increase downforce and improve stability. As ever, buyers can opt to have them finished in exposed carbon fibre, body colour, or a contrasting shade, and can choose to pick parts individually if the entire kit is a little too much in terms of cost or aesthetics. 

As if the Evo’s standard Performante-derived exhaust wasn’t thunderous enough, the tuner is offering its very own ‘race’ setup. Two configurations are on offer, with the exhaust constructed from either stainless steel or lightweight Inconel - the latter is coated in a layer of gold thermal insulation, which also adds visual flare. 

New sports springs reduce ride height by 35mm, lifting the new Vossen-developed staggered 20, 21” wheel set into the arches. Three different wheel designs are available, as are various colour and finish options with each, however all take advantage of the staggered setup. 

As with all of Novitec’s products, customers can opt to have their interiors reupholstered in any colour and material they desire. Pricing for the whole package can be obtained upon request.
