Lamborghini announces a new limited edition Gallardo with an interesting colour scheme

Lamborghini has announced a new special edition of the Gallardo. Just like the new Porsche 911 ‘Black Edition’, nothing has changed mechanically, but its does get new paint and wheels. You don’t have to be fluent in Italian to realise that the outside of the Gallardo Bicolore has two colours. The roof and roof pillars on all the cars will be painted Noctis Black while on the lower sections you can choose between Giallo Midas, Arancio Borealis, Grigio Telesto, Bianco Monocerus and Blu Caelum (yellow, orange, grey, white and blue).

Prices haven’t been announced yet, but the Bicolore also gets 15-spoke Skorpius alloy wheels, finished in titanium grey enamel, while inside, the seats and dash are covered in the finest ‘Nero Persus’ leather. The stitching of the leather will be colour matched to the exterior (yellow, orange, blue or grey – grey is also used if you spec a Bianco Monocerus car). Various other cars have gone for a similar colour scheme in the past: The 2005 Audi TT Sport springs to mind, and of course the more recent Ferrari 599 GTO. With some careful speccing you could probably get a Mini or DS3 to match your Gallardo Bicolore too, if you wanted...
