Tuned Lamborghini Gallardo

German tuner IMSA releases its upgraded Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 with 582bhp

Those pesky German tuning companies have been at it again. We’re getting an ever more constant stream of tweaked supercars and hot hatches from Germany, and the latest effort is this, the IMSA GTV.

It is, of course, based on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, and for once it’s a fairly tasteful take on the tuned Italian exotica.

Several of the body panels are carbonfibre, cutting weight and increasing its performance kudos, while there’s height adjustable sports suspension and a new polished stainless steel exhaust system. The latter helps boost power from the standard Gallardo’s 552bhp to a decidedly more potent 582bhp, trumping the new Ferrari 458 Italia in the process. Torque is up to 413lb ft.

The exterior modifications are reasonably discreet, with more muscular front and rear aprons and a rear wing the main tell tales. Well, apart from those unfortunately gold 20in alloys. Inside you’ll find carbonfibre bucket seats alongside some extra leather and Alacantara, which forms some lovely stripes on the dashboard.
