The 567bhp Jaguar F-type ZP Edition is the brand’s final V8 sports car

Jaguar unveils the race-inspired F-type ZP Edition to mark the end of the line for its charming sports car

As Jaguar’s electric future looms, the F-type ZP Edition has been launched as the final iteration of the firm’s long-standing sports car. Limited to just 150 units worldwide, the model will mark the end of the F-type’s decade-long production run when it hits the road in 2024. Prices start at £134,925, and with just 10 examples set aside for the UK market, it won’t be easy to get your hands on one…

Inspired by the race-winning E-types built under Project ZP in 1961, the limited-edition features a number of unique design touches inside and out, but performance is identical to the F-type R 75 on which it’s based. Utilising the marque’s ubiquitous 5-litre supercharged V8 in a 567bhp, 516lb ft state of tune, the 0-62mph sprint is dispatched in 3.5sec with a top speed of 186mph.

Developed by Jaguar’s SV Bespoke department, each example will come with hand-painted Porcelain White roundels and grille surrounds, new gloss black diamond cut wheel finishes and ZP Edition branding on the treadplates, dashboard and wings. Horizontal seat fluting will also feature in every example alongside a ‘One of 150’ SV Bespoke commissioning plaque.

Buyers will be able to choose from either the coupe or cabriolet and two colour schemes, each referencing those of Project ZP E-types: Oulton Blue with a Mars Red and Ebony leather interior, or Crystal Grey with Navy Blue and Ebony leather. Both exterior shades are unique to the special edition and contrast against gloss black exterior accents and brake calipers.

Jaguar Managing Director, Rawdon Glover, said: ‘As Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025, this is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar’s internal combustion sports car provenance. F-type has captivated sports car drivers for more than a decade, just as the E-type did five decades before it. The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector’s editions including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition.’

Jaguar will produce just 150 examples of the F-type ZP Edition, with just 10 of those destined for UK buyers when production gets underway next year. Pricing starts at £134,925 and £138,390 for the coupe and convertible respectively, putting it at a £30,000 premium over the standard car.
