Ford Focus WTCC edition launched

A new 200bhp 1.6 version of the Ford Focus has been launched by WTCC team Arena.

World Touring Car Championship contenders Arena have launched a new special edition Ford Focus WTCC Edition. It’s based on the turbocharged 1.6 Zetec S, with a Mountune performance upgrade, pushing power to 200bhp and to 236lb ft.

Other upgrades include a set of lightweight Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 wheels, along with 235/40/ZR18 Yokohama Advan Sport tyres. The car is also fitted with a Mountune-developed short-throw gear selector and stainless steel Powerflow exhaust system.

Inside the cabin, there are a few splashes of carbon fibre trim, and on the outside you get a set of replica World Touring Car stripe kit. The price hasn’t been confirmed, but Arena says the model will be fully covered by Ford’s manufacturer warranty, and available globally.
