Bedford Trackday 15 May

Everything from classic Alfas to supercharged Atoms graced the year's first evo Track Evening

Trackday season is getting into full swing, and evo kicked things off nicely with a first track evening at the Bedford Autodrome.

Friday May 15 was the date, with a nice mix of cars and characters coming along to our home circuit. Happily, the proverbial cats and dogs held off (thick grey clouds had plagued the area all day) and track conditions were good, with the obligitory Caterham and Atom drivers avoiding a soaking, too.

Cars ranged from a classic Alfa Romeo GTV, smart Jaguar XKR and legendary 996 Turbo to a Mitsubishi Evo X, Henry Catchpole's old Fast Fleet Golf GTI and a startling MG ZR (with around 350bhp and a rollcage) that took chunks out of nigh on all the other cars on the straights.

It was a great event, and you can see plenty of photos here, or click below to view our video from Friday. If you want to book yourself on future evo trackdays, or get more information, head to the evo Trackdays Section.
