Cadillac CTS-V special editions

Cadillac has launched two new special edition colour schemes for its high-performance CTS-V models - Stealth Blue and Silver Frost

Cadillac has released two new special edition versions of its 556bhp V8-powered CTS-V – the Stealth Blue and Silver Frost editions – featuring a new type of matt paint finish for the compact muscle car. The announcement was made at the recent Chicago motor show.

Like the 6.2-litre supercharged engine, which is the same unit as the last-generation Corvette, the Stealth Blue paint was also first seen on the 'Vette. It is available in either saloon, estate of coupe form – featuring black alloy wheels, black grille and Recaro seats. Cadillac claims that the new paint finish is more durable than regular matte paint finishes, and is said to be as hard wearing as normal paint.

A more exclusive option is the Silver Frost edition, which is limited to just 100 Coupe examples. The model will be available with a suede steering wheel and gear knob, polished or satin black wheels and painted Brembo brake callipers.

Cadillac does offer the CTS-V in Europe, however there isn't an official right-hand-drive option for UK buyers. Prices start from £70,000 in the UK for the 556bhp model.
