Mansory BMW 7-series news and pictures

Mansory tweaks the BMW 7-series sports saloon. Extra power and new body kit for 750 and 760

Mansory has directed its unique brand of styling at the BMW 7-Series. Unusually restrained compared to the company’s other creations, and with no dubious name, the cosmetic modifications are fairly limited, with a new front bumper with integrated daytime running lights (4180 euros or £3636 at today’s exchange rate) and a carbonfibre grille (£1738). At the rear there is a roof spoiler (£1026), boot mounted lip-spoiler (£1113) and a new bumper and diffuser, with integrated Mansory designed quad tailpipe tips (£3723). Oversized 22in alloy wheels (up to £1996 each depending on design) do a convincing job of filling the wheel arches. Inside, customers can choose from a vast array of interior trim combinations, as well as newly designed ergonomic steering wheel, which maintains the functionality of the standard item. Of more interest to us are the performance upgrades on offer. An ECU remap and fitment of a sports air filter are enough to raise the output of the 750Li’s 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 to 483bhp and 531lb ft, from the stock car’s 402bhp and 440lb ft. The V12 760Li benefits from a similar tuning package, developing a Ferrari 599 GTB-beating 631bhp and 678lb ft, up 94bhp and 128lb ft from the standard car. The price of the performance tuning for the 750Li is £2340, with the cost of the 760Li upgrade available on request.
