BMW M Power app

BMW M Power app allows you to track driving progress in your M Division performance car

BMW M5 Touring

Do you want to know how fast your M5 can hit its electronic speed limiter?  What about finding out how many Gs you’re pulling around your favourite roundabout in your Z4? Well - in truly clichéd iStyle - there’s an app for that.  BMW’s M Power division has released an iPhone application which can measure sprint times, distance and G-force. This means you can find out how fast your car will accelerate, or how quickly it can travel over a certain distance. It’s free, and available to download now from Apple’s iTunes store. The program can be configured to read in miles per hour, or the kilometric equivalent. It can do distances up to 2km and register speeds up to 200km/h, which equates to an easy license-losing event over here in the UK. Follow evo on Twitter or on Facebook for latest car news and views
