Limited edition Bentley Mulsanne marks 95th Anniversary

Bentley will mark 95 years of the company, with a new special edition Mulsanne model. Details and pictures here

Bentley is to create 15 unique ‘Mulsanne 95s’ to celebrate its 95th anniversary this year. Only available in a very patriotic ‘Britannia Blue,’ ‘Empire Red’ or ‘Oxford White’ paintjob, every single one of the special edition flagship models are reserved for customers in the UK.

As if the paint names weren’t nationalistic enough, the words ‘Ninety Five’ are joined by Union Flags on illuminated treadplates, and an interior of blue and white two-tone leather divided by red stitching. The number ’95’ is also embroidered onto the front and rear seats, whilst outside, the Flying B bonnet mascot gains a darker tint, ensuring the car’s limited edition status is revealed with subtle details.

The standard Mulsanne isn’t exactly lacking in luxury, but owners of the 95 will be faced with an interior garnished in even more extravagant wood veneer, Bentley claiming the source of this rare wood being a fallen walnut tree aged between 300 and 400 years old. This tree’s rare rippled effect is maximised through Bentley’s use of the ‘single ring of wood,’ where the natural lines are maintained through the cabin.

Prices remain unconfirmed, but an increase on the standard car’s £228,200 price tag can be expected. If you happen to have a quarter of a million Pounds burning a hole in your pocket, you can order your Mulsanne 95 at one of Bentley’s 22 UK dealers now.
