Audi claims a combined economy figure of 40.9mpg and 162g/km of CO2 although in our experience you’d have to be driving very gently to get anywhere near that. Low to mid 30s is probably the best you could hope for in real world use. Even so, this is a very respectable result considering the performance and no doubt helped by the car’s smooth-acting stop-start system and lightweight MQB chassis.

Audi offers a good range of fixed-price servicing plans to help keep maintenance costs down and residuals look strong.
