Audi and Ducati's partnership debuts via a big budget video at Pikes Peak

Audi and Ducati’s partnership has been promoted via a video at the Pikes Peak hillclimb. The German giant took overall control of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer in July, in a deal reported to cost 860 million euros. It made Ducati the 11th major manufacturer in the VW group. The first bit of promotional activity linking the two brands is this video from Pikes Peak. It looks to be a big budget affair too, with plenty of helicopter camerawork and overly flashy graphics detailing the 14,110 foot ascent of an Audi RS5 and Ducati Multistrada 1200S. It’s not exactly a race, more a twinning of glorious footage and dramatic music.
