2012 Audi RS5 from £58,725

Audi has announced a slightly updated RS5 for 2012, now offered with an optional 'Sport' package

In line with the revisions made to the 2012 model A5, the RS5 has received some of the same minor changes – with prices now starting from £58,725. It's available to order now, with the first UK cars arriving in April.

Power output for the naturally-aspirated 4.2-litre V8 remains at 444bhp, but the 0-60mph time has dropped by 0.1 seconds to 4.5, and CO2 emissions have decreased to 246g/km (from 252g/km).

A new 'Sport' package brings together more than £5000 worth of options for less than half of that. Coming in at £2250, the package combines dynamic ride control, dynamic steering, 20-inch alloy wheels and a sports exhaust system.

Exterior changes include new LED running lights, new rear lights and a fresh design for the 19-inch wheels. Standard equipment now includes built in sat-nav, with Bluetooth and iPod integration, as well as cruise control.
