Aston Martin reveals a more luxurious Rapide sports saloon called, appropriately enough, the Luxe
Aston Martin has announced details of a new and more exclusive package for its flagship four-door saloon, the Rapide. Over and above the standard car’s comprehensive specification, the ‘Rapide Luxe’ gains a selection of exclusive colour options including concours Blue and James Bond-inspired Quantum Silver. There's also a bespoke six-piece leather luggage set (matched to the hides of the car's interior), a rear-seat DVD entertainment system (with two 6.5in LCD screens integrated in the front-seat headrests), a custom Bang and Olufsen BeoSound audio system with wireless headphones, glass switchgear and a special key that combines glass with stainless polished steel. The seats also benefit from a ventilation system which offers three temperature settings and a rotary control button for each seat.
While far from the roomiest of supersaloons, the Aston Martin Rapide impressed us greatly when put against its key rivals from Porsche, Maserati and Bentley.
