Kahn Vengeance Volante teased ahead of Geneva Motor Show

Following up on last years Kahn Vengeance coupe, we'll see a convertible version at Geneva 2017

Kahn Design, best known for its strikingly modified Land Rovers, has taken a can opener to its first coach-built project to create the Kahn Vengeance Volante. Sharing the 510bhp 5.9 naturally aspirated V12 and ZF automatic gearbox with the now extinct Aston Martin DB9, the Vengeance Volante’ adopts the same reworked body and interior as the hard-top Vengeance coupe launched at last year’s Geneva Motor Show.

The car has now been revealed in full at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show with Kahn boss Afzal Kahn stating; “creating a convertible version of the Vengeance posed some challenges, given the unique coach-built nature of the vehicle, but we’ve overcome them in true British fashion.”

Appealing to those who think a normal Aston Martin soft-top is just a bit too subtle, the Kahn Vengeance Volante’ employs the same design cues as the hardtop (roof aside), featuring Zagato-like round tail lights, flared arches and that distinctive grill.

Biased more heavily towards grand touring, as opposed to the more sporting pretensions of Aston Martin’s upcoming Vanquish S Volante, the Vengeance Volante will aim to appeal to buyers looking for a bespoke GT cabriolet.

Prices have yet to be revealed for the Vengeance Volante but they’re expected to exceed the £300,000-plus tag attached to the hard-top version.
